This is an article about the 10th series of Doctor Who. Having spent 24 years on Darillium with River Song, the Doctor is back to face one of his most dangerous adversaries yet. This series focuses on the Minister for War mentioned in the Series 9 two parter Under the Lake/Before the Flood. This series also introduces us to new companion Holly Taylor, a biologist who lost her father during the Battle of Canary Wharf, before also losing her brother during the events of the Dalek Invasion of Earth in 2009. She has a great hatred of the Daleks, and resents aliens as a whole before meeting the Doctor, who shows her that there is far more out in the Universe than beings who wish to conquer and destroy.

United We Stand (Part 1 of 2) The TARDIS is drawn towards a mysterious distress signal during the American Civil War. The Doctor and Holly team up with President Abraham Lincoln to locate the source, but when they do, they discover it belongs to an old enemy of the Doctor. One that was long thought dead.
Divided We Fall (Part 2 of 2) With Holly trapped inside the mind of the Great Intelligence, the Doctor, Lincoln and a group of former slaves and disgraced servicemen must free her before the Intelligence gains access to the TARDIS using her knowledge.
Phantom of the Space Opera The Doctor takes Holly to the biggest theatre in the Universe, but when they arrive they discover that all of the acts are being replaced one by one by plastic duplicates that are being controlled by the Nestene Consciousness. Endgame (Part 2 of 2) With the help of Holly, The Shadow Proclamation, Captain Jack Harkness, Clara Oswald and Ashildr, the Doctor prepares for his final stand against Rassilon and his horde of Broken, and must destroy the Stone of Onyx creating the Broken in order to save the Universe from complete annihilation.
