Terufel was the second-in-command of Mavetiel, and fellow Serakym who planned to stop time completely with an intricate time explosion. He is not devout to Mavetiel like Shotiel, nor does he doubt him like Etziel. Instead, Terufel is more apathetic about the fate of the universe and sees life, time and reality as in need of preserving but would be just as happy with its destruction.
